Saturday, December 3, 2016 [Miami, Florida] – Haute Living hosted their annual Black Jaguar White Tiger Brunch at Bagatelle Miami Beach on Saturday, December 5th from 1-4 p.m. The fundraiser brunch took place at the notorious South Beach spot to help the rescued animals at the Black Jaguar White Tiger site in Mexico. In addition to ticket sales, art by Mr. Brainwash, Romero Britto, and Bradley Theodore were auctioned off to support the cause.
The Mexico-based organization was started by Eduardo Serio, who runs the charity with the help of devoted friends around the world, rescuing and caring for over 240 big felines, including jaguars, tigers, leopards, lynxes, lions, pumas and more from a life of abuse in circuses, zoos and breeders. Art pieces were auctioned for upwards of $40k a piece.
At the Bagatelle brunch, Mr. Brainwash wrapped guests in his iconic “Life Is Beautiful” crime scene tape, while attendees mingled amongst the artists, Hublot executives, JetSmarter representatives, and viewed the Big Bang watches on display which were created and designed for the charity.
The proceeds for the event raised approximately $160,000 to give back to the Black Jaguar White Tiger rescue, a non-profit organization that helps rescue animal in need and provides them with a home, medical care, and a dignified life.
