Hublot unveils its latest concept in luxury timepieces with the launch of a new boutique at Harrods. The dedicated space was opened by ceremonial ribbon-cutting by both Mr Guadalupe, HUBLOT CEO, and Helen David, Harrods Chief Merchant, in attendance.
The original boutique, first created in 2011 has been re-designed to exemplify the brands ever-strengthening positioning in fine watchmaking which is known to have a unique and contemporary edge. At the heart of Hublot, the new 2017 Harrods space exhibits the brand’s philosophy pioneering luxury innovation and the ‘Art of Fusion’, which is demonstrated in the brand’s interior choices such as the dynamic approach to combining unexpected materials.
Reflecting the Swiss Haute Horology brand’s approach to explore a wide range of materials, the boutique design takes an original approach to contemporary design using new lighting techniques to showcase the visibility and special character of the Hublot collections. The futuristic lines of the 20sqm space are showcased in black ash wood, grey alcantara, serigraph mirrors and grey carpet floor.
Hublot CEO, Ricardo Guadalupe, said: “We are delighted to present this new landmark Hublot Boutique in one of London’s most cherished luxury retail destinations Harrods, Knightsbridge. Hublot is proud to have such an established and loyal London client basis and we feel this reflects the shared appreciation of a unique sense style and the desire to constantly challenge fine watchmaking boundaries. The refurbishment of the Hublot Boutique in Harrods is the first step of a year that will mark a milestone in Hublot and Harrods partnership.”
