Hublot and the Office des Vins Vaudois (OVV) join forces to conquer Switzerland and the world!
Hublot, the watchmaking brand from the canton of Vaud in Switzerland, is particularly proud today to announce its commitment to supporting the Office
des Vins Vaudois (OVV) by becoming its principal partner.
As it is the only watchmaking manufacture based in La Côte, surrounded by vineyards – and deeply embedded in Swiss values, Swiss tradition, Swiss quality and Swiss products – it was only natural for Hublot to become the privileged
partner of Vaud wines and share the benefits of the Swiss watchmaking brand's international marketing strike force.
Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot explains: "This collaboration will quickly take shape with promotional events organised in Switzerland and worldwide. Hublot's distribution network
and presence on every continent, thanks to its 70 boutiques and 750 points of sale, will perfectly boost this promotional power. Likewise, the many events that we are organising worldwide will provide the perfect support for promoting Vaud wines: with over 1000 guests and VIPs expected to attend, these events include the
hospitality programme we have created in Rio de Janeiro for the FIFA™ World Cup, and notably the Hublot hotel – a real Swiss Guest House on Copacabana."
As Jean-Claude Biver, Hublot President and President of the LVMH Group Watch Division highlights: "Hublot's role is not limited to developing the art of watchmaking and the
inherited savoir faire of our culture; as an ambassador for Swiss heritage throughout the world, the company has chosen to defend and promote Swiss values in general. Among these values - originating as far back as the Cistercians - are those of winegrowing and Chasselas. This is all the more pertinent since the region of Lavaux became
classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2007."
Pierre Keller, President of the Office des Vins Vaudois says he is pleased to enjoy a long-standing friendship with Jean-Claude Biver and would like to express his admiration for the incredible added value he brings to all the work he is committed to, particularly to Hublot
and the watchmaking sector. "Switzerland's winegrowers – the essential artisans of our Swiss way of life and of the beauty of our Swiss countryside – certainly deserve to reap the fruits of this promising collaboration."
Allez la Suisse!
