Hublot was the Official Timekeeper of the Abu Dhabi Invitational played on January 25 and 26 at Yas Links, on the famous Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.

MEA Regional Director Marco Tedeschi hosted the Hublot Deck, a private space overseeing blue waters and endless green landscapes, where both professional and amateur players rested and refreshed between holes, joined by VIP guests watching the tournament and enjoying the ultra-hospitable lounge.

Guests had the chance to discover Hublot’s latest timepieces revealed a week earlier during Geneva Days 2015, including the Classic Fusion Aerofusion Moonphase, the Big Bang Broderie and the Spirit Of Big Bang All Black.

The tournament, co-hosted by Mohammed Farooq and Abdullah Saeed Al Naboodah, was a spectacle of golf mastery set amongst an awe-inspiring backdrop of coastal inlet and marina. Darren Fichardt prevailed to clinch the top spot and claim victory of the Invitational, calling it “an unbelievable event on a great golf course.” In the team event, it was the superb combined performances of Thongchai Jaidee and premiere football star Gabriel Batistuta that secured the win.

Hublot was pleased to host such a fine caliber of professional European Tour players and amateur golfing guests from the world’s leading businessmen and entertainment companies.
