Hublot Partners with the World Baseball Softball Confederation

Hublot in association with the Chinese Taipei Baseball Association present the limited timepiece to Mr. Tai-Yuan Kuo, head coach of the Chinese Taipei national team in order to support Taiwan’s baseball development.

The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) is now on Hublot Time! Luxury Swiss watch brand Hublot officially joins forces with the WBSC as partner and Official Timekeeper of the prestigious 2015 WBSC Premier12TM that will take place from November 8th - 21st. To mark this milestone, Hublot launches an exclusive timepiece, the Classic Fusion Chrono Aero "World Baseball Softball Confederation” that is the perfect blend of the baseball culture and spirit for baseball fans. Hublot decided to hold the press conference at a baseball field and presented this timepiece to Mr. Tai-Yuan Kuo, head coach of the Chinese Taipei national baseball team. At the same time, Hublot also contributed large amount of baseball equipment to the association in the hopes of promoting baseball culture in Taiwan. Hublot continues to contribute to the motto “Hublot Loves Baseball”, after Japanese Baseball player, Mr. Masahiro Tanaka, becoming one of Hublot’s ambassador.

Mr. Tai-Yuan Kuo is no doubt one of the most influential individuals in Asia baseball history and is also the head coach of the Chinese Taipei national team that will be competing in the Premier 12 this year. He set the record of being the international player who achieved the most wins in the Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) history with 117 wins accumulated during his 13 seasons. Mr. Ta-Yuan Kuo has the expertise and experience that cannot be gained overnight. Over the years, he never stopped challenging himself to become a better individual. The first ever WBSC Premier12TM will begin on November 8th (Sunday) in Japan and Taiwan. Hublot will throw a party to cheer for the first match of Chinese Taipei national team against Netherlands on November 9th (Monday) in Taipei.VIP guests will also be invited to Taichung City to watch the game. The first customer to purchase the limited edition watch will be handed over two tickets to the finale of the competition held at the Tokyo Dome (Japan) to witness the exhilarating yet historical moment.
