HUBLOT Celebrates Usain Bolt’s Birthday in Beijing

August 20th, 2015, Beijing – Usain Bolt, the fastest man in the world, and brand ambassador of the Swiss luxury watchmaker HUBLOT arrived in Beijing, getting ready for the 2015 Beijing IAAF World Championships in Athletics on August 22nd. The Championship is another significant international sports event held in Beijing after the 2008 Olympic Games. Beijing is a special place for Bolt, as he turned sports theories upside down when he picked up 3 world records at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Breaking his own personal best with alarming ease, but also broke new ground of human speed. His expedition to be the king of athletics has thusly began.

“Lightening Bolt” was greeted by the HUBLOT team who presented him a cake with the logo of Big Bang 10 Years. Both together celebrated this double anniversary. Usain Bolt’s 29th birthday as well as HUBLOT’s iconic Big Bang 10th anniversary. During the festivities, he reviewed HUBLOT’s latest novelties in order to supplement his ever growing collection of HUBLOT watches including his own King Power Usain Bolt.

On May 20th 2010, HUBLOT officially announced Usain Bolt as an ambassador. His watch, the King Power Usain Bolt was launched in 2012. HUBLOT has always been dedicated to accurate timekeeping to each and every minute and second, while this 1.96-meter tall athletic true champion broke many world record, even the speed limit of human being.
