Following the success of Les Journées Particulières’ third edition, organised by the LVMH group, Hublot opens it doors to the public for the second time. On Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd May 2016, the Swiss Watchmaking brand will welcome watch enthusiasts to visit the Nyon Manufacture (Canton of Vaud, Switzerland), the location where all the Hublot timepieces production takes place.

Guests will be exclusively invited to visit the two main watch manufacture buildings, which are situated next to each other. The tour will start at the “Hublot 2” Manufacture where visitors will be invited to discover the workshops where the production of the components for Manufacture movements and watchcases takes place. Guests will then have access to the micro-mechanics workshops, all the CNC machines, the decoration, electroplating and the general mechanical and cleaning workshops.

The second stage of the tour will take place at the “Hublot 1” Manufacture, starting in the Research & Development department. This area of the building focuses on creating complicated movements and new materials, renowned for it’s creation of Magic Gold, the scratchproof gold patented by Hublot and the EPFL (the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne). Following this, the guests will visit the assembly workshops, with a special insight into the UNICO workshop where the manufacture chronograph in-house movement is designed and assembled, as well as the very silent Grandes Complications workshop, in which only the minute repeaters are allowed to resonate. The tour will finish with the strap fitting, the final stage of the manufacturing process.

Hublot has also made the tour family friendly! Michel Pont, Hublot Football Consultant, will be present on Saturday and Sunday from 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm to host an event focused on football for children aged 6 and over. A pitch will be specially installed on the lawn of the “Hublot 2” building, inaugurated in September 2015.

The Hublot team eagerly awaits you!
