A Partnership Continues to Achieve New Heights HUBLOT, the Swiss Luxury Watchmaker, Becomes Exclusive Partner to the Anniversary,Witnessing the Milestone of Sino-Swiss Bilateral Relations 

On the joyful occasion of the 65th anniversary of China-Switzerland diplomatic relations, a press conference was held today in the residence of Switzerland ambassador to China in Beijing. With its remarkable achievements in global watchmaking and business sector, Hublot officially becomes the exclusive partner for all-year ceremonial events of 65th anniversary of China-Switzerland diplomatic relations.

This is the second time Hublot has become a partner of Switzerland Embassy in China after having been involved in Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the People’s Republic of China and Swiss Confederation in July last year. Hublot also announced that it will officially launch the limited edition watch for 65th Anniversary of China-Switzerland Diplomatic Relations on September 14th this years, the day China and Switzerland first established their diplomatic relations to celebrate the robust relationship between the two countries.

Jean-Jacques de Dardel, the Switzerland ambassador to China, and Eveline Widmer-Schlumpf, a member of the Swiss Federal Council and the head of the Federal Department of Finance, with the companion of business elites, prestigious academics and government officials discussed significant issues, including quality, innovation, competitiveness and sustainability, so on and so forth.

The caseback is engraved with "Sino-Swiss FTA takes effect" and "July 1st, 2014", symbolizing this significant historic moment. It is available in King Gold (extra-precious gold containing 5% platinum) with 20 limited pieces, and titanium with 30 limited pieces.

Furthermore, China and Switzerland are making greater efforts on exchanges in public culture and science & technology. As one of the many programs, Solar Impulse 2, the Swiss solar powered aircraft will stop at two cities in China during its flight around the world.
