Hublot and Ajax extend their partnership

To coincide with the UEFA Champions League match between Ajax and FC Barcelona on 5th November in Amsterdam, Hublot CEO Ricardo Guadalupe and Edwin van der Sar, the former footballer representing Ajax, celebrated three fantastic years' of partnership between Hublot and the legendary Dutch club, and took this opportunity to announce the extension of the contract for another three years.

The brand has been the Official Timekeeper for Ajax since 2011. Ricardo Guadalupe, delighted with this announcement, said: "After three years of close and fruitful collaboration, in both commercial and marketing terms, it seemed a natural decision to continue our partnership with
Ajax, the historically successful club with whom Hublot shares values such as motivation and passion".

With four UEFA Champions League wins and 33 Dutch Championship titles to their name, plus a UEFA Cup win in 1992, Amsterdamsche Football Club Ajax, better known simply as "Ajax" (named after the hero of Greek mythology), is one of the most successful clubs in Europe.

The first luxury brand to become involved in football in 2006, Hublot has since then worked in close collaboration with FIFA as Official Timekeeper and Official Watch of the FIFA World Cup™. Also the Official Watch of EURO 2016, Hublot now works very closely with a number of prestigious clubs, including Germany's Bayern Munich, Turin-based Italian club Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain from France, and counts "king of football" Pelé, José Mourinho amongst its ambassadors, to name but a few.
