HUBLOT UNVEILS A NEW COLOR RANGE WITH THE BIG BANG & SPIRIT OF BIG BANG COAL BLUE

Hublot Coal Blue Collection - SL

January 19th, 2026 – Milan, Italy – Hublot unveils a new sophisticated and powerful color range as part of its Big Bang family, designed for pieces that are both elegant and distinctive. Four models uniquely dressed in light: coal blue. A new color for Hublot, radiating a mysterious and subtle minerality and developed specifically for these four new references. It offers a novel and unexpected alternative within the Big Bang family, which is known for its bright, vibrant shades.

This exclusive, saturated blue with stormy and mineral undertones, reveals its natural reflections when struck by light at a certain angle. It is a rare tone, difficult to capture, that borrows its constituents from gray, black and blue. A delicate alchemy is at play here, with Hublot seeking to combine its mineral depth with its natural brilliance.

A solid dial with geometric patterns adorns these two watches for the first time: the 43-mm Big Bang Original Unico and the 42-mm Spirit of Big Bang. They share a common feature: a dial inspired by the pattern of carbon fiber. It weaves a color chart with alternating satin-finished and polished squares, with a reworked 3D effect to give it more depth and a new geometry.

The Big Bang Original Unico is powered by the Unico Manufacture chronograph flyback caliber, with a three-day power reserve. The Spirit of Big Bang itself is powered by the high-frequency HUB4700 movement oscillating at 5 Hz (36,000 vib/h). Both pieces proudly display their shared DNA: titanium case, rubber strap, One-Click interchangeable system and titanium deployant buckle, bezel featuring six distinctive H-shaped screws, characteristically non-aligned for functional reasons.

The Big Bang Original Unico Coal Blue is at the heart of the new Big Bang Original Unico range, which combines the esthetic of the Big Bang Original with the contemporary features of the Big Bang Unico. It features the same distinctive characteristics, including the new 43-mm case, the iconic reworked carbon fiber-effect dial, the Unico Manufacture movement and a sculpted diamond-patterned structured rubber strap reminiscent of the very first Big Bang watches equipped with the One-Click system.

The other two pieces reflect the mineral character of the Coal Blue through the use of carbon in its purest state: diamond. The bezels of the Big Bang (33 mm) and the Spirit of Big Bang (32 mm) are set with diamonds – 36 on the former and 44 on the latter. Each dial is nestled within a bezel whose diamonds accentuate its subtle variations. All diamonds are certified according to the dual RJC (Responsible Jewellery Council) and Kimberley Process certifications, which guarantee the highest ethical standards. These diamonds comply with the 4Cs that define excellence: 0.76 carat for the Big Bang One Click and 0.70 carat for the Spirit of Big Bang, Color F, G, Clarity VVS and Excellent Cut.

The piece thus retains its sporty feel but is dressed in shades of steel tinged with blue, with touches of light and preciousness. Finely sunray finished, the dials display the complexity of the Coal Blue shade on their surface, revealing its subtle shades of blue and gray in an ever-changing palette. Steel complements the two previous titanium versions. This alternative harmony of tones creates a consistent, modern and sophisticated esthetic. The different shades of gray in the steel create a cameo effect that blends naturally with charcoal blue. The transition is smooth. The juxtaposition of colors adds depth and visual complexity to the composition.

“We have chosen to exploit the complementarity of our iconic Big Bang and Spirit of Big Bang watches. We are unveiling not two but four creations with boldly distinctive personalities, ranging from timeless elegance to sporty dynamism. With Charcoal Blue as the common thread, each design offers a unique perspective on this bold new color. ”
