THE ZURICH BOUTIQUE GETS A MAKEOVER AND JOINS THE BIG LEAGUE THANKS TO HUBLOT’S NEW ARCHITECTURAL CONCEPT

The Zurich boutique gets a makeover and joins the big league thanks to Hublot’s new architectural concept
A new exclusive concept

Following the example of the Hublot flagship stores, the Zurich boutique has been embellished with a new architectural concept based on the codes of the brand. After a few weeks of work, the Zurich boutique has reopened its doors, dressed in new finery.

Present in Zurich since June 2014, on the famous Bahnhofstrasse, Hublot has renovated its space to offer its clientele a new, lighter and warmer backdrop. Combining luxury and modernity, this space resonates to Hublot’s famous “The Art of Fusion” motto. After the boutiques on Fifth Ave-nue in NYC, Place Vendôme in Paris, New Bond Street in London, and Rue du Rhône in Geneva, it is now the Zurich boutique’s turn to display a new decor, in an urban spirit. In a fusion of materials, the interplay of mirrors, glass, marble and metal reflects all the energy of this cosmopolitan city. Dressed in refined and innovative materials, the space also pays tribute to the art world, decorated with large Pop Art-style works inspired by the iconic models of the watchmaking Manufacture.

A dizzying ascent

The first Hublot boutique appeared in Paris, on Rue Saint-Honoré in 2007. Since then, the House of Hublot has continued to expand. Today, Hublot has a global presence through 94 boutiques located in the largest capitals and finest avenues of the world.

Hublot, Master in the Art of Fusion

Almost 40 years after its creation, the House of Hublot has not stopped surprising us. To its name: two buildings for its manufacture in Nyon; 650 employees across the globe. Creating its own movements, it designs and shapes new materials thanks to its in-house foundry and Metallurgy & Materials department. From world firsts to patented innovations, Hublot continues to stamp watch-making with its distinctive spirit: “Be the first, be unique, and be different.”

It is with this philosophy in mind that the watchmaker continues to develop its Art of Fusion, a con-cept applied since 1980 with the House’s first case combining natural rubber and gold in a shape inspired by a boat’s porthole. A founding principle is the fusion of traditional watchmaking expertise with the most cutting-edge and innovative technologies, and the most unexpected materials. A fu-sion that the brand extends to personalities, skills and talents to create the unexpected.
