HUBLOT CELEBRATES A SECOND MADRID BOUTIQUE OPENING WITH A PRIVATE EVENT
The second Hublot boutique in Madrid has opened its doors! Operated by our long-standing partner, Rabat, the boutique was officially opened with the traditional ribbon cutting. There, Ricardo Guadalupe, Hublot CEO and Jordi Rabat, were joined by award-winning footballer Alexia Putellas, ex-footballer Luis Figo, and the mentalist Lior Suchard, all friends of the brand.
“Spain means a lot to us, as it has played a big part in gaining international awareness of the brand since the 1980s, when it became one of the most visible showcases for the Art of Fusion. That is why I am so thrilled to open this second Hublot boutique in the heart of Madrid.”
A star-studded inauguration
Located on Madrid’s prestigious Golden Mile on Calle Serrano 30, in one of the oldest, most emblematic buildings in the area, it opened its doors in the morning to the national press, who got to explore the Hublot universe in an even more spacious and luxurious setting, a place that will now be thoroughly enjoyed by watch lovers.
After the opening, a hundred guests—including a select group of friends of the brand, celebrities, and customers of both Hublot and Rabat—attended a cocktail party followed by a dinner hosted at the emblematic Casa Velázquez.
Luis Figo, Lior Suchard, actor Yon González, presenter Noemí de Miguel and model Juan Betancourt were among the guests who posed for the photocall that was set up for this memorable occasion.
Also in attendance were the familiar faces Pelayo Díaz, Eugenia Osborne, Alex Domenech, Lucía Bárcena, Ana Vera and Paula Nata.
The cocktail and after party were accompanied by lively performances by mentalist and friend of the brand Lior Suchard, violinist Pablo Navarro, and DJ Luigi Nieto, who gave the perfect finishing touch to a wonderful evening.
The Hublot universe is now an even more luxurious and spacious setting.
Here, clients instantly delve into the Hublot experience. When entering the boutique, visitors are immersed in “The Art of Fusion” concept, the brand philosophy focused on blending materials and ideas. Designed to offer visitors a bright, warm and welcoming ambience, the space combines luxury with modernity and tradition with innovation. It will be the home to timepieces made from unique materials, in-house manufacture movements and limited editions.
The boutique space combines materials such as mirrors, glass, Alcantara leather, wood and metallic elements, which reflect the dynamic energy of the city. As in the other Hublot boutiques across the globe, the space pays tribute to the world of art, so dear to the brand, by displaying large Pop Art paintings inspired by iconic pieces from the Hublot collection.
The boutique is set over two floors. The ground floor displays the iconic creations of the Swiss luxury watchmaker on 27 m2, as well as a 15 m2 VIP area offering a more intimate shopping experience. The second floor, downstairs, has a surface of approximately 40 m2, which can be used for exhibitions, private visits, or simply for relaxing while immersed in the creative world of Hublot.
