A perfect example of precision and reliability, the HUB1710 caliber with automatic winding beats at a frequency of 4Hz (28,800 alternations/hour) and provides the watch with a 50-hour power reserve. The large central hour, minute and second hands are complemented by a date at 3 o’clock. This movement also stands out with its great finesse despite the presence of an automatic winding system.

Featuring a “barrel” shape in close fusion with the Spirit of Big Bang collection’s case, this entirely skeletonized automatic winding caliber displays two very popular functions: a large off-center date at 2 o'clock indicated by two discs and moon phases in a window at 6 o'clock. The small second hand displayed at 9 o’clock. Despite the presence of two complications, the movement retains a reasonable thickness.

The HUB4700 caliber is the successor to the famous El Primero caliber - the first chronograph with an integrated style automatic winding (1969), which was also the first mechanical chronograph equipped with a 5 Hz frequency (36’000 alt/h) allowing an accuracy of 1/10th of a second. In a perfect fusion between tradition and innovation, this entirely skeletonized movement is now equipped with silicon regulating element ensuring avant-garde performances, precision and reliability.

To obtain a two-week power reserve, Hublot has developed an original and spectacular design movement integrating seven barrels paired in series. To enable the transmission of energy between the horizontal axis of the barrels and the vertical wheel driving the hour/minute displays, the Manufacture has used a very rare system in watchmaking: a 90-degree return by means of the helical gear wheel, of the “endless screw” type.

When Hublot turns its attention to the tourbillon, the result can only be unique. To highlight this emblem of watchmaking expertise, the manufacture has created a skeletonized format of concentric circles around a mechanism placed at 6 o’clock. Equipped with a five-day power reserve, the HUB6016 caliber with manual winding system also stands out with its highly practical and readable power reserve display at 9 o’clock through a disk and five sectors.

To display its extraordinary power reserve in a unique and innovative way, Hublot has developed a new watchmaking construction where the usual platinum has been replaced by long bridges fixed on either side of a ring used as a basis for the movement. This original approach combined with the skeletonized components gives the Manufacture HUB1201 caliber a tri-dimensional effect and striking depth, on the side of the case or underneath.

By developing its own automatic chronograph movement, Hublot wanted it to be – like all of its creations – the first, different and unique. As the soul of the watch, this movement with an “open heart” reveals its completely re-imagined design, with double clutch system and column-wheel from the dial side as well as a 72-hour power reserve. Its construction of 354 components has been simplified as much as possible to improve reliability and robustness.

Thirty times rarer than gold, platinum is considered to be the ultimate noble metal. It is perfectly chemically stable, resists corrosion and never loses its characteristic silver shine. It also stands out with its high resistance to erosion and entirely hypoallergenic nature. For its watches, Hublot only uses 950 platinum (95% pure platinum) to offer daring combinations with avant-garde materials.
