26 November 2021 BIG BANG UNICO EDEN ROCK ST BARTHS Hublot announces a 25-piece limited-edition watch symbolising its continuing collaboration with the Oetker Collection’s iconic Caribbean hotel Hublot’s love of style, elegance and mechanical invention have come together once more in the fresh form of the Big Bang Unico Eden Rock St Barths, a piece that is as cool and summery as a sundowner enjoyed taken overlooking the sea at the celebrated Caribbean hotel from which the watch takes its name. Hublot’s partnership with Eden Rock – St Barths, which is operated by the Oetker Collection, has produced special watches before, but this is the first time Hublot’s flagship Big Bang Unico 45mm has provided the template for the collaboration. The new 25-piece limited-edition has a calming 45mm cerulean blue ceramic case inspired by the colour of the sky, the ocean, and elements of the hotel’s recently reappointed interior. “The Eden Rock St Barths is one of my absolute favourite places on earth. So calming, so refreshing, so energising. I just love it. And of course, the service is impeccable. Our collaboration has been a source of great joy and even greater friendship and I’m thrilled to introduce this new limited-edition watch. Every time I see the watch it transports me back to Eden Rock – St Barths, and it makes me feel better.” Ricardo Guadalupe HUBLOT CEO The watch’s colour palette includes light blue, white, red and teal accents, inspired by the white of the sand, the red of the hotel’s roofs and the natural colouration of the sea in the Baie de Saint Jean. The sapphire crystal case back is decorated with a specially created outline of the rock and the hotel seen from the shoreline, while the matching blue presentation box has a porthole containing a sample of the sand from the beach. Think of it as a truly unique souvenir. Beyond these special details, the watch is powered by Hublot’s hugely accomplished Unico automatic mechanical chronograph movement, and it comes with a choice of three straps, one in white rubber with blue stripes, a second in blue rubber, and a third that’s a white Velcro strap. Initially the Big Bang Unico Eden Rock St Barths will only be available at the hotel.
