Today, in 2026, the Big Bang returns to its origins, becoming the Big Bang Original Unico. An icon is not born overnight and the Big Bang Original Unico carries twenty years of Hublot’s innovation, risk, reinvention and mastery.

The Big Bang Original Unico carries the Big Bang legacy into the next era, with meaningful upgrades inside and out. Its DNA stays unmistakable. Let’s starts from the inside out. Its movement has been upgraded to the Unico, Hublot’s fully in-house chronograph caliber, an engineering statement of 100% manufacture power built around five patented innovations. The Unico movement integrates a column wheel, a dual-clutch architecture, a layered construction, an optimized gear train and a skeletonized tungsten rotor open-worked in the shape of an H. The case, now refined to 43 mm, strikes the perfect balance between the 41 and 44 mm sizes of the past, achieving the ideal proportions for versatility and comfort. The Big Bang Original Unico now reveals what drives it, through its sapphire crystal caseback. Finishes are softer and more sophisticated, with beveled edges. Ergonomics are elevated through curved, smoother lugs, a rubber-clad crown and rectangular pushers with Hublot’s signature rubber inserts. The dial gains a stronger sense of depth, with volumes enhanced by a carbon pattern illusion, lifted counters and tone-on-tone rehauts that create a dynamic, three-dimensional look. The strap introduces a new geometry and integrates the One Click system for seamless interchangeability.

The six unaligned and functional screws on the bezel, the signature ears and the multi-layered construction remain loyal to the Big Bang Original. What made the Big Bang a design icon endures unchanged. So does the fusion of materials – ceramic, titanium, King gold – and the bold contrast of vertical brushing and polish finishes.

For the launch of the Big Bang Original Unico, four models showcase three of the materials that form the backbone of Hublot’s Art of Fusion: Black Magic in full black ceramic, Titanium fully crafted in lightweight metal, Titanium Ceramic with a titanium case and black ceramic bezel and King Gold Ceramic pairing a 18k gold case, black ceramic bezel and King Gold–black titanium deployant buckle. Together, they tell one story: twenty years of research, fusion and craftsmanship fused into one icon.

The world’s first full-color high-tech ceramic palette (red, yellow and tones once thought impossible) densified under extreme pressure, sintered at 1000°C, 300 Vickers harder than traditional ceramic, amagnetic and corrosion-proof.
